And here are a few Sweet Baby James pictures.

This little guy is doing everything he can to be mobile. He can scoot himself around on his belly pretty well, and today he made it 12 inches… we may have another Micah on our hands. 😳

I guess I should explain, for those of you who haven’t heard, the plan for our trip is to make it all the way to North Carolina. Why North Carolina you might ask? We’ve heard it’s gorgeous, we’d like to see other areas of the country we’ve never seen before, and it’s a great way to test our patience, apparently…
It’s not entirely mapped out yet. In part because we’ve been just a tad busy, but also because it’s quite time consuming to book RV parks and map a route. And there’s just a little bit of me that really likes the adventure of not knowing… Of course, this drives Matthew crazy. 😂
But here’s the route thus far.
It will be around 2 1/2 weeks of travel just from Vancouver to Omaha.
We made it safely to our first RV park site in Sagle, ID! After a bit of a map malfunction and slight panic over possibly having to back up 33’ trailer on a rural road, we fortunately found an alternate route, and set up camp before meeting my sister and her family.

She and her family have a gorgeous property!

Our first stop was to see our dear, sweet friends. The late nights, talking and laughing were good for the soul.

Our first stop Kennewick, WA. I’d say it went off without a hitch… but that would have been disastrous!
There was A LOT going on in the days leading up to our departure. We had to pack our home away in PODS, pick up the trailer and park it at my parents’ house, move some seriously large items, sign closing documents, and we were doing it all right up to the last moments before we left. It was hard, and I’m glad it’s behind us. I won’t lie, things aren’t all peaches and cream being on the road, but moving is one of those rare things I can’t stand.
The hardest part is leaving behind our family and our community. I love you all. I hope you know that. Wherever we may land, you will always be dear to us.

We loved living in this house. It was sad to say goodbye.
